Love in full bloom
Chris and Emily’s garden wedding was full of bright colors, their favorite people, lots of dancing, and the dreamiest dessert table!
From the very beginning, this wedding was truly a labor of love. The bride’s friends came together to help prepare and place all of the beautiful décor, filling their venue with vibrant colors and plenty of personality!
While everything came together outside, the bride kept the morning easy, soaking in every part of getting ready with her bridesmaids. She was totally present and happy to enjoy the process.
SO MANY laughs were had. This was hands down the most hilarious group of friends. I had a running mental list of all their off-the-cuff sayings that I knew would make perfect photo captions!
The getting ready space was such a good spot to hang out and ease into the day without feeling rushed. And the weather absolutely showed up for them! Beautiful sunshine set the perfect kind of day for a garden wedding.
Chris and Emily shared a private “first look” before the ceremony. It was such a quiet, intimate moment! First look moments are some of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE things to photograph, especially when they feature happy tears!
Thinking about a first look for your Big Day? I’d love to talk through the process, all the perks, and what it could look like for your wedding day!
They said “I do” surrounded by colorful blooms and their closest people. The smaller guest list made everything feel extra personal, relaxed, and perfectly at home in the garden.
Chris and Emily included a hand-fasting ceremony, tying their hands together as a beautiful symbol of the life they’re choosing together.
After the ceremony, everyone settled in for good food, lots of laughs, and plenty of dancing. The whole evening felt easy and fun. Just Chris and Emily surrounded by their favorite people and having the best time!
Also, Emily MADE (like actually made with her two hands!!!!) a giant vintage moon prop for their photo booth area. It was absolutely incredible!!!
As always, I’m so grateful for every couple who trusts me to document such a meaningful day in their lives. Getting to do what I love and create art rooted in real memories is something I’ll never take for granted.
And I’m so thankful for you, too, for being here and taking the time to enjoy my work!
Best wishes for Chris and Emily and their new chapter together!
